Screech!

Another little screech owl in progress. They are so cute! And it's fun to learn more about each bird as you do research as well.

I do that as well Christy - read up about the bird I'm painting before I paint it - I'm building up quite a knowledge as I go along! Love this owl!

He's really special. I love the curious way he's looking upwards. The colour work in his feathers is stunning too.

Thanks Lorraine, I've found capturing from videos a useful tool. that way you're not in danger of copying a still shot and you can get the pose you want.
