Fall Color

Yesterday was wet and rainy, perfect for painting indoors.  A nice turkey was in the oven, and I could patiently wait for layers to dry while watching the Ryder Cup.  Congrats to Europe!
This was done wet in wet, no pencil sketch.  WN cad yellow, new gamboge, orange lake, cobalt blue, perylene maroon.

Stunning painting, Christy. Fantastic colours and the light is wonderful. I can just about taste pumpkin.

Dear Christy,
Just wanted to let you know that I am taking a break from blogging and closing my blogs. You have always been so kind to leave comments from time to time so wanted to let you know. I wish you all success with your own painting career.

Maggie, we will all miss you so much but I completely understand your need for your own time. Bless you for all you have done for so many of us; your inspiration, ideas, work ethic, tutorials, and so much more!
